The Herrera Law Firm, Inc., announces the firm is a proud sponsor of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 87th Annual Gala, to be held Jan. 23.

Attorney Jorge Herrera of The Herrera Law Firm, Inc., recently spoke about the advantages of supporting the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
"When you join the membership of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, you're joining a movement, a movement to create more economic opportunities, more jobs, and more wealth in our community that stays in San Antonio," Herrera said in a YouTube video about last year's Gala.
Last year's event drew more than 1,700 people and featured Gov. Greg Abbott, who delivered the keynote address.
Other prominent individuals connected with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce include Henry Cisneros, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Clinton administration and former San Antonio mayor.
"The Hispanic Chamber ... is now one of the most dynamic forces in San Antonio and capable, professional, competent, exciting and fun," Cisneros said. "I wish that the people who were present at the beginning like my grandfather who (was a cofounder) could see it to today. They would be very proud of what they set in motion."
San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor said, "The Hispanic Chamber has had a huge impact for many years on the business community here. It serves as an advocate for small businesses and minority owned businesses and helps contribute toward the vibrancy of our economy here in San Antonio."
Business owners say the Hispanic Chamber provides a valuable platform for them and helps make their businesses flourish in South-Central Texas.
